Amritsar, December 23
Local Government Minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar held a meeting with senior officials of Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport and the district administration regarding the hosting of the G-20 summit in Amritsar. Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu, Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Singh Sudan, Commissioner of Police Jaskaran Singh, Commissioner Corporation Sandeep Rishi and Director Airport Vipan Kumar Seth were present in this meeting.
Nijjar said the main roads leading from the airport to the whole city are being repaired, lights and landscaping will also be ensured on these roads.
He visited the main road from the Amritsar airport to Darbar Sahib, along with officials concerned, and instructed officials to complete all work on time.
