Agriculture experts have advised farmers against using any weedicides in mustard fields and instead suggested to them to remove the weeds manually. Chief Agriculture Officer Dr Jatinder Singh Gill said farmers should go for mild irrigation of the mustard fields during the early morning hours to reduce the harmful effects of the frost on the saplings.
